Our Ministries
Preschool:
At Sneedville First Baptist Church, we understand that children are God's greatest gifts and recognize the responsibility that accompanies this gift. Through our Preschool Ministry, we offer age-appropriate opportunities for young children to learn all about God and how to show others the love of Jesus. We recognize that children begin to understand God's love through the smiles, kind words, and care of those who welcome them to church.
We also recognize the need for parents to also receive support, education, and personal spiritual growth. Our ministry to parents is an important part of the life of our church and we look forward to ministering to you and your family as you seek to raise your child in the training and admonition of the Lord.
In Sunday School, our teachers seek to build nurturing relationships with the children. Your child will have fun learning about what the Bible says through "hands on" games, crafts, and playtime.
The purpose of the Preschool Ministry is to help lay a spiritual foundation for the life of each child. It is our desire to provide a safe, loving, and healthy environment for the children as they learn about God's love and how it applies to their lives.
All children from Kindergarten and below are welcome to join in the Little Lambs group who meets during regular fellowship time during Sunday morning services. At the beginning of the service, the leaders will gather any children who want to join this class and go downstairs into the fellowship hall for another class similar in structure to their Sunday School class.

Youth:
Our Student Ministry at SFBC strives to create an environment for students to experience a genuine relationship with Christ that is not only growing but thriving! Our passion is to see students fall in love with Jesus and serve Him with all their heart, with all their soul, and with all their mind.
Through weekly Bible study, Youth Meetings each Wednesday night, and small mentor-led discipleship groups, mission trips, retreats, and many other fun activities, students have the opportunity to grow in their faith while showing others both here and abroad the love of Jesus.
Men's Ministry:
Our Men's Ministry exists to see men draw closer together and draw closer to the Lord. We accomplish this through fellowship, service projects, discipleship groups, and Bible study.
Relationships are vital for growth and accountability, so our men's ministry is intentional about fostering those relationships. Whether we're eating, shooting, or just hanging out, these fellowship times allow for guys to be themselves and invest in another for life-on-life discipleship.
Women's Ministry:
Our Women's Ministry exists to see women draw closer to Jesus and serve Him faithfully. Our women participate in a variety of ministries and service projects designed to serve others in our church, in our community, and around the world. We would like to invite all women (18 and older) to come join us as we have fun and fellowship as we serve our community.
